I Wonder If The Prince Is Cute?

Hello my little busy bees. Ginger, Feline Reporter Extraordinaire reporting in!

We've all surmised that the Royals are coming for a visit because there is sooooo much buzzing and fancying up and excitement. You saw the giant chair beast the Kreatrix recovered.

Well. Somebody abandoned a "sweet piece of mid-century modern awesomeness" (Kreatrix' words) by the roadside. Kreatrix and Prof crammed it into their automobile.

Here it is before she did anything to it:

A mid-century modern credenza needing a bit of tender loving care. — Nothin' a good wash-up, teak oil and wax won't take care of...

Of course, The Chairman, Melvin and Wally wanted to go for a ride on it.

Brace yourselves, humans, cause here is what it looks like now:

AND LOOK! Frankencat has his own mid-century furniture:

He tried to show us on his globe of planet earth where the royal family lives.

AND I can hardly wait to meet them. As I understand it, they are related to us on the Prof's side of the family. Apparently a King and a Prince are coming.

I hope the Prince is cute.

Wow, Kreatrix! You surely did beautify that mid-century awesomeness!!
I guess one man's trash truly is another man's (or woman's) treasure.
The Royals may not want to return to the palace after seeing such wonders!

I think I get it. The in-laws are coming for a visit? Along with your spouses sibling? Whip snap! Get that place into shape! Cool piece of furniture. Can't believe someone just set it out. It predates me but is very cool. I'd like it in my apartment. Wish I'd find that kind of roadside garbage! Saaaweeet!

  You are one sharp cookie! Father-in-law and brother-in-law. Normally I'd say for a couple o' guys we wouldn't have to over clean the house but you should see their home. S.P.O.T.L.E.S.S. However, these two men are the sweetest. And so is the Prof! I married into a very spiffy family!
